Dermaplaning facial in Pea Ridge
A dermaplaning facial with me is $100. I gently remove dead skin and peach fuzz from your face with a fine blade, as part of a facial. It's done at my private studio in the Shops at Slack Street, Pea Ridge.
What dermaplaning is
Dermaplaning is a gentle way to exfoliate. Holding the skin smooth, I glide a fine blade over your face to lift off the top layer of dead skin along with the soft, fine hair often called peach fuzz.
With the fine hair gone, makeup has nothing to catch on, and your skin care goes straight onto the skin.
Who it's for
- Skin that looks dull or feels rough.
- Anyone whose makeup looks patchy or catches on fine facial hair.
- Anyone getting ready for an event or photos.
When it isn't the right fit
Dermaplaning isn't for everyone. If you have active breakouts, very sensitive skin, a recent sunburn, or you use a prescription retinoid, tell me before you book. I may suggest a different facial, such as the Hydro Facial or the acne facial.
After your facial
- Leave your skin bare for the rest of the day if you can, so it can settle.
- Wear sunscreen every day, and skip tanning for a few days.
- Skip hot tubs, saunas and hard workouts for the rest of the day.
- Hold off on retinoids and exfoliating products for a day or two, especially after extractions.
I'll tell you if anything about your treatment calls for different care.

Will my hair grow back thicker after dermaplaning?
No. Peach fuzz grows back the same as it was. Removing it doesn't change how thick or dark the hair is.
Does dermaplaning hurt?
No. It feels like a light scraping across the skin and isn't painful.
How often can I get a dermaplaning facial?
About every four weeks, which gives your skin time to go through its natural cycle between visits.
