Lip wax
An upper lip wax takes a few minutes and removes fine hair from the root, so there's no stubble the next day the way there can be after shaving.

Waxing
I offer gentle face and body waxing at my private studio in the Shops at Slack Street, Pea Ridge. Prices start at $10 for a lip wax, a full Brazilian is $50, and first timers are always welcome. You can book any wax online through Booksy.
These three have their own pages, with what to expect, how to prepare and aftercare.
Every wax is one on one in my private studio, so it's just you and me. If it's your first time, or you're a little nervous, tell me when you arrive. I'll explain each step before I start and take it slow.
Waxing pulls hair out from the root, so the skin stays smooth for longer than it does after shaving, usually three to four weeks depending on how fast your hair grows. Booking every four to six weeks keeps you on a steady schedule.
Quick visits for the small areas that are hard to keep tidy at home. For brows, see eyebrow waxing.

BookNose waxing removes the visible hair at the opening of the nostrils. It's quick, and only the hair near the edge is waxed.

BookEvery body area is waxed one on one in my private studio. For the bikini area, see Brazilian wax and bikini wax.
Smooth underarms for weeks at a time, without the daily shave. Skip deodorant for the rest of the day after your wax so the skin can settle.

BookA full arm wax covers shoulder to wrist. A half arm is either the upper or the lower arm, whichever you'd like done.
A full leg wax covers hip to ankle. A half leg is either the upper or the lower leg. Lower legs are a good choice for summer, and full legs make sense if you're tired of shaving every day.
Chest and stomach waxing in one visit, for a clean look that lasts much longer than trimming or shaving.
Chest and Stomach WaxPrice: $65
BookFull back waxing, from the shoulders down to the lower back. It's one of the hardest areas to keep smooth on your own.

BookHair waxes best at about a quarter inch, roughly the length of a grain of rice. After shaving, that usually takes two to three weeks. If it's much longer, you can trim it a little, but don't shave.
For a few days before, skip scrubs, retinoids and tanning on the area you're having waxed. On the day, come in with clean, dry skin and no lotion or oil, so the wax can grip the hair.
If you use a retinoid or prescription acne medication, tell me when you book. These can make skin more fragile, especially on the face, and I'll let you know what to pause and for how long.
Waxed skin is a little sensitive for a day or two. A few simple things help it settle.
A little redness or a few small bumps for a day is normal. If anything worries you, give me a call.

About a quarter inch, roughly the length of a grain of rice. That's usually two to three weeks of growth after shaving. If it's too short, the wax can't grip it, and if it's much longer, a quick trim beforehand helps.
Usually three to four weeks, depending on how fast your hair grows. Booking every four to six weeks keeps the hair on a regular cycle, which makes each wax a little easier.
It stings for a moment as each strip comes off, then fades quickly. Fine hair on the face and arms is usually easier than thicker hair in the bikini area or on the legs.
If it's your first time, tell me when you arrive. I'll explain each step and take it slow.
At my studio, a lip wax is $10, a brow wax is $20, a bikini wax is $40, a full Brazilian is $50 and a full leg wax is $75. Every waxing price is on this page and on the pricing page.
