Teen facials in Pea Ridge

The Teen Clarifying Facial ($100) is a gentle facial with extractions for teens dealing with breakouts, plus tips for a simple routine at home. For younger kids, the Kids Facial ($35) is a short, gentle facial that teaches the basics of caring for their skin. Both are at my private studio in Pea Ridge.

Facials for teens and kids

Teen Clarifying Facial

A gentle facial for teens with breakouts. I cleanse, do careful extractions and calm the skin, then talk through a simple routine they can keep up at home without a shelf full of products.

It's a good first facial for a teen, and a calm way to learn what their skin needs.

Booking for someone under 18

If you're booking for a teen or a child, call me first at (479) 466-4362 so I can tell you what I need from a parent or guardian.

Breakouts that are painful, deep or leaving marks are worth a visit to a doctor or dermatologist as well. A facial is skin care, not medical treatment.

After your facial

  • Leave your skin bare for the rest of the day if you can, so it can settle.
  • Wear sunscreen every day, and skip tanning for a few days.
  • Skip hot tubs, saunas and hard workouts for the rest of the day.
  • Hold off on retinoids and exfoliating products for a day or two, especially after extractions.

I'll tell you if anything about your treatment calls for different care.

Common questions

Something else on your mind? Call (479) 466-4362.

What age is the teen facial for?

It's made for teenagers. For younger kids, the Kids Facial is shorter and gentler. If you're not sure which fits, give me a call.

Will a facial clear up my teen's acne?

A facial clears out the pores on the day and teaches a good routine, but it isn't medical treatment. Persistent or painful acne is worth seeing a doctor or dermatologist about.

How often should a teen get a facial?

Every four to six weeks is plenty for most teens, with a good routine at home in between.
